Obidinma Isaiah Okoli Onyemelukwe Foundation’s eye health programme aims to develop and support initiatives around eye health in Nigeria and Africa.
The programme supports and educates the public on issues pertaining to eye while also raising awareness about the need to take care of the eye to prevent and reduce the prevalence of avoidable blindness and visual impairment through education to highlight the need for preventive measures, early detection, regular eye check-ups and the use of optical aids.
Recognising the challenges faced by Nigerians and Africans in accessing eye care services, the Obidinma Isaiah Okoli Onyemelukwe Foundation is committed to creating positive change through community outreaches, awareness campaigns, partnerships, empowerment, and initiatives that promote optimal ocular health for all Nigerians and Africans.
